The Steps

In this section, you'll learn the most common way to analyze comparable houses to determine what the subject property that you've located might be worth, after it is fixed up (otherwise known as the ARV- after repair value).


It is recommended that you locate a couple buyers in your area and ask them to review your method of analyzing comparable properties and provide feedback on what criteria they plug in for the most accurate search. You can do this by creating a recorded Loom video of yourself running the numbers and sending it to them for review.

A couple important questions to ask buyers about criteria are:
-target radius (.5 mile is most common)
-target sold date range (90-180 days is most common)
-sq ft range
